Spice Blends (Spice Mix)
The Spice Blends/Spice Rub or Spice mix are actually blended spices or herbs. When a recipe calls for a certain combination of herbs or spices, it is convenient to mix or make blends of these ingredients beforehand.
Masala is the term mostly used from the Indian subcontinent for a spice mix. A masala can be either a combination of different dried and usually dry-roasted spices, or sometimes a paste made from a mixture of spices and other ingredients like onions, ginger, turmeric, garlic, chili paste and tomato etc.

The Condiments are generally available in concentrated single forms or as mixtures of ingredients that are mostly added to food, after cooking, in small portions to enhance specific food flavor or also during cooking and/or eating such as table dips and seasonings. Condiments can be found in liquid, semisolid, and solid forms and used to complement the dish. A table condiment or table sauce is more specifically a condiment that is served separately from the food and is added to taste by the diner like celery salt, garlic salt, onion salt, chili sauce, chutney, meat sauce, mint sauce, prepared mustard, barbecue sauce, compound butter, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, Marmite and sour cream are examples.
